Fetal4D using advanced 3D & 4D Ultrasound technology to give the mother-to-be a rare chance to peek their unborn babies months before actual giving birth.
Since 2004 we have scanned thousands of expecting women and become a premium maternity resource in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since inception, our focus has been on providing a quality ultrasound experience while balancing affordability and safety. By complimenting the traditional prenatal sonogram with the family-centered 3D & 4D sonogram, we have been able to connect families with their new baby earlier and better, bringing many mothers back to us for every pregnancy and earning referrals from doctors throughout the Bay Area.
Our RDMS registered Sonographers
Our quality of service is guarantied by experienced, still professionally active clinical sonographers. We will make sure that you are in good and experienced hands. To make some of our customers more comfortable, all of our sonographers are also female professionals. Each of Fetal4D’s sonographers has performed thousands of 3D & 4D ultrasound scans and even more 2D ultrasound scans. Every one of our sonographers is fully credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and has at least five years of clinical ultrasound experience in addition to her experience with 3D & 4D scans at Fetal4D. Actually, all of our sonographers are required to obtain at least two licenses from RDMS (usually an abdominal registry and an OB/GYN registry). We guaranty to provide our patients with the best possible care from the top quality professionals. Our sonographers scan exclusively in low-power OBmode (the same mode that your doctor uses), and know all of the right (and safe) methods to obtain beautiful images of your baby.

We exclusively use the most advanced 3D & 4D ultrasound imaging systems — the GE Voluson 730 Expert, ensuring that images of your baby are captured in real-time and in the highest resolution possible.

Your 3D/4D Ultrasound Scan Experience
Your 3D/4D sonogram at Fetal4D will be recorded on a VHS tape or DVD in real time, and you will be able to select the pictures of your baby you want to print from the best of those taken during your scan (you usually get 30-60 good quality pictures every session), or bring all of them home if you pick up a Photo CD. Your ultrasound scan will take place in our charming ultrasound scanning theater, with room to seat up to 10 friends and family comfortably (Due to Covid, this may vary, please check with the office) while you watch your scan on our big screen, high-resolution viewing monitor. A live microphone in the room captures our sonographer’s narration of your scan as well as the reactions and comments of you and your party. All of this goes on to your video! Extra copies for friends and family can be made in just minutes.
